CLC Ministry Amidst The Pandemic

After recommendations from the COVID Task Force, council has unanimously voted to act in the best interests of our most vulnerable community members and return to masking for INDOOR CAMPUS ACTIVITIES.

Our COVID task force is comprised of church members who have the unenviable job of weighing our desire to return to pre-pandemic life within the confines of what is safest for our young children as well as community members who may be immunocompromised.

We have taken this recommendation to return to indoor masking seriously as we know how much our congregation cherishes the opportunity to worship together in person. We are aware that breakthrough cases in vaccinated people are possible, and together we'd like to protect those who are not vaccinated as well as our staff.

We hope that by being proactive not only will we demonstrate the principle of loving our neighbor, but that we will also be able to continue to worship together in-person. Council is grateful for the congregation of Christ Lutheran Church and all you have done to be flexible and gracious as we seek the Lord's guidance in how best to protect our congregation during this time.

Mark 10:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
